Ethan Ma

Hi! I'm Ethan, a student at Rice University studying Computer Science and Operations Research. I'm currently a Software Engineer Intern at Agentic AI Services where I am building backend Python software to automate the conversion and standardization of raw utility billing data from multiple energy firms. I am also a Research Assistant at Rice University, and am contributing towards research in gastric cancer ML and branch-and-bound modeling with Dr. Puyao Ge and the MD Anderson Cancer Center.

My interests lie with building impactful projects and researching novel topics. My most recent projects are Cardvantage, a tool for finding the best credit card rewards while shopping online, and Data Science and Machine Learning, a demonstration and exploration into applying 12 machine learning algorithms towards sport analytics, music genre categorization, and more.
